I have received a few questions about the 13S tech school. When I went through the schoolhouse the curriculum was brand new and hastily constructed, and I am sure the material has changed quite a bit since then. Ironically, the entire course is summed up very well by a book called the Air University Space Primer. I'm not sure how it works, but I think this book was (or is) a project completed by students in the intermediate officer Professional Military Education, Air Command and Staff College.
The entire book is available for free online download here. I thought about providing an opinion on each chapter but instead I will throw this out there and have you all comment or email me if you have any specific questions about the content. I am glad to explain anything which doesn't make sense, answer any questions, or even provide some real-world perspective.
Bottom line: if you show up to 13S tech school with the foundation of knowledge from this book, you will be very well prepped for whatever they decide to teach you while you are there.
